I understand that time estimation in advance philosophically doesn't fit with kanban - the emphasis is on flow. However, my company wants to know how our effort is split across different projects, so we need to log work against the different tickets.

I understand we can go to the ... menu to get Log Work, but having the "Log work" link on the summary in the right-hand pane was a useful prompt to the team when we used Sprints, and it would be really useful to have it back now we've moved to a kanban flow.

If work log was displayed in the issue detail view, it would greatly simplify our processes.

Currently many of our work logs are copied as comments to get around this issue, but it is wasteful when it should just be viewable alongside the comments.  (Preferably in timeline order, with an indicator to show whether it is a comment or a work log.)

Yes, please please! I want to show how much time is being spent on cards in the preview of the card on the board. I put "time spent"  as one of the 3 items to be previewed per card, but it still shows as "none" instead of the time that has been entered. Please make this work!!

This is really needed as team, while logging work hours against stories, puts comment against it. This is not reflected in this board in any way.
